Investigation of the Relationship between Perceived Stress Levels and Emotional Intelligence Levels of University Students

Abstract

The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between perceived stress levels and
emotional intelligence levels of university students. The research was accomplished by 150 students in Demiroglu Bilim University. Bar-On Emotional Intelligence Test, Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) and Demographic Information Form which was created by the researchers were used to collect data. It was founded that there was a statistically significant negative relationship between perceived stress level and emotional intelligence.
