Bibliometric Analysis of Studies on Geographical Indications in The Field of Gastronomy and Tourism

Abstract

Geographical indication draws attention as a subject that researchers have started to work on in international and national literature. The aim of this study is to determine the bibliometric characteristics of the researches on geographical indications carried out in the fields of gastronomy and tourism in the years 2004-2022, within the framework of various parameters. In this direction, on the subject were reached in the Web of Science Core Collection database. While the study presents general descriptive data on the studies on geographical indications in English in the fields of gastronomy and tourism; The articles included in the research were examined according to years and countries. Within the scope of the study, information on keyword analysis, cooperation network of countries and authors is presented. It is thought that the study will make an important contribution to the studies on geographical indications in the fields of gastronomy and tourism and to the gastronomy literature.
